We are very sad to announce that, owing to difficulties beyond our control, Kelham Festival unfortunately will not be taking place this year.

Kelham has always been a challenging site to work with. There have been a number of issues we have had to resolve and we believed that we had found solutions to all of those issues. Unfortunately, however, this has turned out not to be the case.
The health and safety of festival-goers always has been, and always will continue to be, our top priority. We won't put you guys at risk. And that's why Kelham Festival can't go ahead this year.

We are, of course, bitterly disappointed and very sorry that we are having to cancel the Festival.  Kelham Festival has been months in the making. We had a really great line-up for you and were so excited to be able to showcase some fantastic new talent.
We'd like to thank everyone who has been involved in Kelham Festival - the bands, performers, traders, suppliers, the management and staff at Kelham Hall, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Newark Rugby Club, Marshalls of Sutton-on-Trent, each and every member of the fabulous Kelham Festival Production Team who have individually and collectively put so much into this, and you - for showing support for what we were trying to achieve with Kelham Festival.

We're hoping to persuade many of the bands and traders that were due to join us at Kelham Festival 2014 to come to our sister event, Grimsthorpe Festival 2014, which takes place on August Bank Holiday Monday (25 August), so that you can still see them. We very much hope you will want to join us at Grimsthorpe Festival 2014 too.

If you have already purchased Earlybird Tickets for Kelham Festival 2014, we'll be in touch shortly to arrange refunds. We're really sorry for any inconvenience cancelling the Festival may have caused you.

Thank you once again for your support.

The Kelham Festival Production Team
